DNA/RNA Labelling and Bioconjugation Made Easy
Your research projects and product developments already have enough critical points and issues to be solved. However, labelling and/or bioconjugation should not be one of them! Instead you should be able to focus on your real research target.
Through our partnership with Baseclick, we are able to provide you with a very simple and straight forward technique to label your biological samples using click chemistry tools and offer you various products, all based on this versatile azide-alkyne reaction.
We offer the best-in-class click chemistry tools for emerging DNA and RNA applications. The most popular example is EdU (5-ethynyl-2’-deoxyuridine) cell proliferation assay. This click assay shows several advantages over other cell viability assays (BrdU or 3H-thymidine) making it a superior evaluation tool for monitoring genotoxicity, evaluation of anticancer drugs or cell cycle analysis and for assessing cell vitality.
Due to direct measurement of cell proliferation in the assay, it is highly reliable and shows no toxic effects in animals. As it is incorporated into DNA during active DNA synthesis and shows a clickable functionality, the content of new cells can be assessed after harvesting the tissue of interest. Detection can then be performed after reaction with the dye of choice, using 3 standard fluorescent readouts: Microscopic Imaging, Flow Cytometry or High-throughput Screening.
